Dark crimson velvet gown:

~ doublet-style bodice with shoulder rolls
~ closed skirt

Black velvet guards with goldwork

White lawn smocks with matching embroidered and beaded sets of sleeves, bands, wrist- and neck-ruffs

Black velvet caul with goldwork and beading

Gold collar and girdles

 
    Blackworked, multi-puffed sleeves and matching ruffs
 

 

In the gardens, looking a little strange... This is the closest to the burgundy colour of the velvet   Simultaneously playing the harp and preventing it slipping off my lap!
   
In the Great Hall. Goldwork- and pearl- embroidered cream silk sleeves with
matching silk organza ruffs.
