~ tabbed open-necked bodice with
shoulder rolls
~ matching open, trained skirt

Alternative red silk, closed, round skirt with goldwork

Coral silk kirtle

White smock with cream taffeta sleeves with blackwork, plus matching silk organza ruff with blackwork and beading

Black velvet coif with goldwork and beading as 1588

In the Great Hall, looking strange!

The goldwork extends all around the hem.   The red and black combination is very striking.

The blackwork and beading on the silk sleeves and ruffs are just visible.
